It's time to accelerate the pace of change

“The pandemic has amplified and accelerated some of the biggest challenges in our society and demonstrated the urgent need for systemic change. To address these issues, we need a market system that puts the needs of stakeholders at its heart, where trust and sustained outcomes come together to drive positive change for society and our planet.”

Bob Moritz Global Chairman, PwC

Building back better will require the collaboration of a wide range of stakeholders to address these challenges. It is critical to tackle the system changes needed to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals while helping to evolve economies to once again deliver for society.

Business needs to be part of the solution. At PwC, we’re proud of our people - a community of solvers who are addressing inclusion and upskilling within some of the most underserved parts of our communities - integrating ESG thinking into the way we work and changing the way we operate to reduce our global carbon emission footprint and achieve net zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2030.

Our commitments

PwC has made a worldwide science-based commitment to achieve net zero greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by 2030. The commitment includes supporting our clients to reduce their emissions as well as reducing those from the PwC network’s operations and suppliers. PwC commits to decarbonise its operations in line with independently validated science-based targets, including its travel footprint, and neutralise its remaining climate impact through carbon removal projects. It will also engage its suppliers to help them tackle their climate impact.
